Stuart GunterStuart Gunter has been playing the drums for over thirty years, traveling the country playing music for audiences large and small, from Colorado to Florida, New York to Texas.  He has studied the art of drumming from the world’s best including Gordon Gottlieb, Kenny Aronoff, Ed Shaughnessy, Clyde Stubblefield, Arnie Lang, Dom Famularo, Jerome Deupree, and Steve Smith, among others.   He loves to record and has been featured on over thirty commercially available recordings and countless demos. 

Stuart's influences include John Bonham, Stewart Copeland, Jerome Deupree, Mick Fleetwood, Steve Gadd, Gordon Gottlieb, Steve Jordan, Geoff Lang, Jeff Neil, Neil Peart, Buddy Rich, Dannie Richmond, Ringo Starr, among others.

Musically, he admires Brooks Smith, The Police, RUSH, Paul Simon, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Bad Plus, Van Morrison, Dave Montgomery, Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Portishead, Tom Peloso, The Clash, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Gabriel, Andy Stepanian, Little Axe, among others. Artistically, he is influenced by Ron Smith, Henri Matisse, Vincent Van Gogh, Cormac McCarthy, Pat Conroy, Don Miguel Ruiz, The Coen Brothers, and Harvey Pekar.
